Ayn Rand: A Battered Romance In an attempt at creative nonfiction I'm going to try and be a little honest here. This should be an entry in my journal, but I figured for the hell of it to make this my next prose poem. This figure, this little Russian woman who stares intently in her pictures in an often joyless expression on her face. She stands for a lot of the evil in today's society. That isn't to say that she's the sole cause for it, nor is she the main inspiration, but she inspires the young to turn to a type of system that is obviously flawed and wrong and her brand of "Objectivism" has clearly many ethnical flaws and issues.
