Alex Ref

Ok, I know it's a fairly simple picture, no background but it's for a contest, well this isn;t my contest picture, no, that one will be FAR better and a hella more colorful and stuff.

Anyways~

This is my character Alex, who is based off of an invented Cryptid called a SeedEater, well no she IS a SeedEater. She began as a crack character with no name as some kinda silly joke between me and with her Mothman character, Lucille. Then....then it kinda got bigger from there, much bigger.

During our OC sessions we started playing around with these two characters and they really really began to grow. So, Alex took a life of her own and here is a little bit of her story.

For the longest time Alex was homeless. After suffering through an abusive relationship, which lost her an eye and caused those pink scars on her snout among other things, she preetty much lived destitute in the woods, her only real clothing being a ratty coat that made her look terrifying. She stank, she was filthy, and she had a tendency to scare the living shit out of children when they came near her and she tried to say hello. Thereby starting a paranormal myth about SeedEaters and what they do.

Then, some time later, she met Lucille. Lucille is a mothman who was going through her own emotionally and mentally abusive relationship with Slenderman, and the troubles of being a single mom, and during an outing where she went to the bar the two of them met. Alex must've found some money and bought a drink. Lucille mistook Alex for a man and, after some talking, she realized she'd at least spend one night with a guy and feel happy than nothing at all. Course, the next morning she discovers she had slept with a woman. This, however, was not bad.

See, despite her abject poverty Alex is a strong woman, and very supportive in her feminism. She didn't force or try Lucille, lucille more or less just assumed she was a guy, but after talking about what happened Lucille realized she'd been living a life of denial and realized her sexuality and that she doesn't deserve to put up with Slenderman's bullshit. Skipping around a bit, she left Slendy for good and moved away with Alex and began life anew. For Alex, it was a second chance at life and happiness. She got a hair cut, cleaned up, was able to wear clothes and express herself as a woman and not a monster, and lives a life of happiness with her wife, yesss they got married, and is raising a daughter (though their child is raised more androgynous) named Nero with Lucille.

This is what Alex looks like post homelessness. She usually wears an apron or a tank top, sometimes dresses, and a pair of blue jeans. She mostly goes barefoot unless she has to go out somewhere or just wants to wear her bunny slippers. That is her fur, the muddy colored stuff, and those are stitches on her left eye. Sometimes she also will tuck a flower or something in her hair, she's just like that really.

ANYWAYS, Cinda I hope this will do for your contest!! I'll work on a more detailed Bio later on for her and her story.
